The induction took place at a gala dinner hosted by the Council in Abuja, which brought together industry stakeholders in the insurance, banking and wider financial services sectors.

The fellowship, one of the highest honours bestowed by the NCRIB, recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth, development and advancement of the insurance industry and Nigeria’s financial services sector.

Speaking at the event, the NCRIB President commended the inductees for their outstanding leadership, professionalism and commitment to strengthening the nation’s financial ecosystem.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity for industry leaders, regulators, policymakers and practitioners to discuss critical issues affecting the insurance sector and reaffirm their commitment to collaboration in improving insurance penetration and expanding financial inclusion across the country.

Omosehin’s induction recognises his contributions to the transformation, development and regulation of Nigeria’s insurance industry, while Abiru was honoured for his legislative support and efforts to advance policies promoting the growth and stability of the financial services sector.

Their recognition underscores the importance of effective regulation, sound legislative frameworks and sustained collaboration among industry stakeholders in building a stronger and more inclusive insurance sector.
