Otukpo APC Rejects Agada as State Chairman
The Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Otukpo LGA has formally distanced herself from the Stakeholders meeting called by Comr. Austin Agada (Erstwhile APC State Chairman) scheduled to hold in Makurdi on 29th February, 2024.
A statement signed by the Otukpo APC Publicity secretary, Nart Adah Collins described Comrade Agada as a fake APC State Chairman parading himself illegitimately and has no right to convene any gathering of the APC at any level as he is currently suspended from the Party and a substantive leadership has been put in place under the Stewardship of Hon. Benjamin Omakolo as Benue State Acting APC State Chairman.
All Members of the Otukpo LG Exco, Stakeholders, Ward Chairmen, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders and Members are by this notice cautioned to distance themselves from the illegality Comr. Austin Agada has put up and not to for any reason attend the meeting.
It noted that the APC under the able Leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Hyacinth Alia in collaboration with the State Working Committee led by Acting APC State Chairman, Hon. Benjamin Omakolo will convene a meeting of APC Members and critical Stakeholders at an appropriate time and communication will be duly done. Our Party remains united and resolute in consolidating it’s internal democracy for the general growth and development of all it’s Structures.
