Q4 2026: DMO to Offer N5.75trn FGN Bonds
Nigeria’s Debt Management Office (DMO) plans to offer N5.75 trillion in Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) bonds in Q4 2026.
The provisional calendar just released by DMO said the offers will be conducted across three auctions: N1.75 trillion on October 19, N2 trillion on November 16, and N2 trillion on December 14.
The bonds will be offered across three maturities: 19.00% FGN Feb 2034 (N1.5trn total), 16.79% FGN Sept 2036 (N2.8trn), and 15.45% FGN June 2038 (N1.45trn).
The plan comes after the Federal Government allotted N7.15 trillion in FGN bonds between January and September 2026, more than double the N3.48 trillion allotted in the same period of 2025. Allotments surged 491% in August and 401% in July year-on-year.
Nigeria’s public debt stood at N166.79 trillion as of June 30, 2026, with domestic debt accounting for N91.59 trillion.
The DMO said the calendar is provisional and could be changed anytime.
