Supreme Court Affirms Adeleke as Osun Governor.
The Supreme Court has declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party as the validly elected Governor of Osun state.
In the judgment read by Justice Emmanuel Agim, the apex court agreed with the judgment of the subordinate Appeal Court’s which upheld the election of Adeleke as the state governor.
The five-man panel of the apex court led by Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim while dismissing the appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2022 Governorship Candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, noted that the appellant failed to proof overvoting in the Osun guber elections held ten months ago.
