Former NAICOM boss Kari is New Wazirin Bauchi
The Bauchi Emirate Council if has appointed the immediate past Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive Officer of NAICOM Alh. Mohammed Kari as the new Waziri of Bauchi.
Kari’s appointment by the Emir of Bauchi His Royal Highness, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu is coming after 19 years of his prestigious traditional title of Garkuwa of Bauchi to which he was appointed to replace his father Alhaji Amadun
The title of Waziri in any emirate council in Northern Nigeria is said to be a powerful title, second only to an Emir, and regarded as a senior member of the Emirate council, a close confidant and chief adviser of the Emir.
The Waziri is known to be an excellent administrator from a well respected and reputable family from Bauchi who managed some of Nigeria’s biggest and most successful companies. An elder statesman with a great tract record in insurance and finance management.
The statement said the new appointment is an additional feather to Kari’s cap and a conferment of his dedication and commitment to serve his father land.
