Leah Katung Babatunde Appointed Media Aide to Defence Minister
Mrs. Leah Katung Babatunde has been appointed as Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (Retd).
Before her appointment, Leah served as a former Business Editor with the Nigerian Television Authority Network News and was among the pioneer staff members of NTA News 24 following her transfer from NTA Kaduna.
Her appointment has been described as a recognition of her years of experience, professionalism, and contributions to broadcast journalism and media management in Nigeria.
Until her new role, Leah was the content owner and producer of the popular television programme, The Policy with Leah, where she gained prominence for her insightful discussions on governance, public policy, and national development issues.
Her extensive media background and communication expertise will strengthen strategic media engagement and public communication within the Ministry of Defence.
